Bike Rally for Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on Independence Day

Sapormeina | 15 August 2026: On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, The Sangai Foundation organised a bike rally as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, bringing together around 100 bikers in a collective celebration of patriotism, national pride and the spirit of unity.

The rally began from Sapormeina and proceeded towards Motbung, before returning to Sapormeina. With the Tricolour proudly displayed on the participating motorcycles, the rally created a vibrant atmosphere along the route and carried the message of Har Ghar Tiranga to the community.

The participation of around 100 bikes reflected the enthusiasm of local residents and supporters who came together to mark Independence Day in a meaningful and visible way. More than simply a motorcycle ride, the event was an opportunity for people from different walks of life to come together and express their respect for the National Flag and the values it represents.

The rally also aimed to encourage greater public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and inspire families and communities to proudly display the National Flag in their homes and surroundings. The sight of the Tricolour travelling through the roads of Sapormeina and Motbung served as a powerful reminder of the shared identity and responsibilities that bind citizens together.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of The Sangai Foundation expressed that national celebrations become more meaningful when communities actively participate in them. Initiatives such as the bike rally provide an opportunity to bring people together while spreading awareness about the importance of respecting and celebrating the National Flag.

The completion of the rally was made possible through the enthusiastic participation of the bikers, volunteers and supporters who contributed to the event. Their collective involvement added warmth and energy to the Independence Day celebrations.

For The Sangai Foundation, the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 was not only a celebration of Independence Day but also a small community initiative aimed at strengthening the feeling of unity, participation and pride in the nation.

As the Tricolour continued to fly across homes, roads and public spaces, the rally carried with it a simple message: patriotism is strengthened when it is shared, celebrated and expressed together as a community.
